The wedding of contemporary art entrepreneur Maria Baibakova and financier Adrien Faure took place over a three day weekend in Les Baux-De-Provence, widely known as “one of the most beautiful villages in France”. All the wedding events took place on the domain of Hotel Baumanière, a five star hotel named by Condé Nast Traveler as the“Best Country Hotel”.
Gradient carefully curated and designed each element of the luxury wedding – from the invitation to the event experiences. The theme of “Ballets Russes” was used as a throughline concept that wove in various aspects of the couple’s heritage, from local French flora and cuisine to Russian traditions. The Friday night event was inspired by Russia in 1805 at the time of Tolstoy’s “War and Peace,” and the wedding dinner was inspired by the era of the Ballets Russes in Paris from 1909 to 1929.
