Gradient was proud to produce the 16th Annual Lycée Français de New York Gala, a large fundraising event that benefits the school’s programs. Gradient worked closely with the event’s host committee to help conceptualize a massive gala dinner at Manhattan’s iconic Park Avenue Armory.
The décor for the evening was inspired by the work of the guest of honor, Brooklyn-based artist JR, and issued a powerful statement on the way that art has a power to impact the wider society at large. Every detail of the evening was meticulously planned to mirror this idea and Gradient used every tool at its disposal, including light, color, large scale focal pieces and over 4,000 yellow tulips. In fact, the entire venue was punctuated by pops of yellow, from the flowers, to items on the auction table, to a massive custom painted bar. Guests were also invited to enjoy a dance performance choreographed by world famous performer, Blanca Li
Throughout the evening, guests had the option to participate in a massive silent auction, which featured highly covetable items and amazing gifts donated by the prestigious, including Hermes, Prada, Mini Cooper and more. Overall, the nearly 1,000 guests raised approximately $2million to support the school’s curriculum and programs
